Why We Built This Site
Colorado permits access to many court records, but the route depends on custody and the product needed. The free state calendar finds settings, commercial vendors offer register data, and the Clerk of Court, Pitkin County Combined Court provides official documents. Aspen, Basalt, and Snowmass Village keep their own municipal dockets. We bring those distinct official routes, contact details, and request steps together without claiming to replace the court record.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Pitkin County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Colorado court, clerk, or agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes on some pages and control their own prices, results, and services. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set the provider's fees or control its records.
